| 16-Oct-2011| Today was spa day: Blue Lagoon, baby! A beautiful, sunny day, our first here in Reykjavik … ever. We loaded up the iPods with new Airwaves music and headed to the bus station. After a 45min drive, the lovely blue steamy goodness greeted us from the barren, volcanic landscape. There was still a chilly wind blowing across the lagoon, but it’s a great way to cool off if you get too warm.
Heading home tomorrow. I can’t believe one last show, then it’s over. What a great trip.

To those who have followed our Airwaves adventures either of the past two years, I know you’re thinking “haven’t I seen this scene before?” Um, yes, you have. Chillin’ in the Blue Lagoon … ahhhhh. Beautiful sunny day, as you can see. Perfection. |
Yes, I know you’ve seen the cathedral too, but look at that blue sky!

Sweet ride outside Harpa. Unfortunately, we did not have the chance to match rider with beast. |
For our last dinner in town we opted for pizza again – take-away this time. The guys ran into the singer from Fist Fokkers coming out of the pizza joint. |
Hermigervill rockin’ the beats so hard his hat flew off! |
Reykjavik! had Nasa in a frenzy complete with the frontman going into the crowd … twice. |
Retro Stefson at Nasa. They’ve come a long way in a year – looked like a completely different band. |
Signing off from Airwaves 2011.
Thanks for coming along!
