| 01-Nov-2023 |  We’ve been to Iceland enough to know that the weather is fickle. The weather app shows sunny and clear, but cold, for this Airwaves and I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted accordingly today.

Reykjavík Roasters coffee and pastry from Braud & Co. – both a must.

Popped into Lucky Records pick up Jeff from his “private” shopping and gab session with Ingvar, then headed over to Yuzu for burgers.

 

 

Yuzu’s new location is in the Posthus Food & Beer Hall which features six food counters and open seating.

 

Taking advantage of the good weather, we trekked out to the Grótta Island lighthouse – 7.5 miles round trip along the coastline. Most trips this would be intolerable – the lack of wind today was perfect.

 

After the usual first-night pizza dinner, we headed out to the Iceland Airwaves Center to catch up with a few friends. Wrapped up the night with hotdogs.
